Colorado has very alluvial or moving soil conditions. After talking with different structural engineers about warrantee periods, we have decided to provide a one-year warrantee. This makes good sense with Colorado changing soil conditions. Beware of others who offer longer warrantees. The warrantee is only as good as the company who offers it. I’ve heard my share of horror stories. There are concrete contractors who offer no warrantee on sinking concrete because of our changing or alluvial soil conditions.
